Good Member and Friend, Mike Labowski Passes I have sad news today. Mike Labosky, our Sergeant at Arms and member for twenty plus years passed away last Friday, June 5th, 2004. Mike and his uncanny style of flying will be greatly missed.
You may pay your respects to Mike and his family 2 - 4 and

Litchfield Field Readied for Takeoff It looks like the monsoon season has ended and things are pretty much
dried out. A special thanks to all that pitched in and got things in
order after several wash outs. Don and Marvin King especially
contributed a lot of hours moving gravel, moving more gravel and cutting
grass so we can all enjoy having a runway to fly from. Please give
them your thanks. The owners did a final repair (second time) of the
culvert and bridge across the stream. It looks like it will stand
for a long time, less we get a bigger flood that this year's. The
parking area is dry and firm. About 3/4 of the runway is mowed and
quite flyable. The south/west quadrant is still uncut but it should
be soon. So don't be shy. Come out and enjoy the sun, fine fellowship and
fly a ship or two.
Oh-Oh Litchfield Field Road Washed Out Bad news at the field today. We got word from the owners
that most of the gravel was washed out around the culvert in the storms
Wednesday. The owner is going to be working on the repair this
Thursday and the road will be closed. Please do not try and use
the field for the next several days. The Electric Contest
may be canceled again this Sunday, May 23rd. Watch your E-Mail closely for
an update on the contest or other developments at the field.
The "Swap Shop" is Now Open AAGMC's website now has a dynamic Swap
Shop to post R/C and C/L aircraft related Items. Use this
