Frequency Post
Description: A "Frequency Post" is used at the AAGMC field for pilots to display their "Frequency Pin". This "pin" contains the frequency that a particular pilot is transmitting on. This helps avoid conflicts with persons having the same frequency. Club Rules allow up to four aircraft in the air simultaneously.

As radio technology grows, more sophisticated transmitters will scan for frequencies being utilized before actuating. Some radios do not require the traditional "crystal" and are capable of utilizing any frequency within it's band.
